Getting to Kraków
BY PLANE
John Paul II International Airport Krakow-Balice is located around 11 km west of the city centre Krakow. There are also two airports in Warsaw: Warsaw Chopin Airport and Warsaw Modlin Airport (and then about 3 hours trip by train to Krakow).
Getting to the center of the city from Kraków Airport
BY TRAIN
The convenient connection from the John Paul II International Airport Krakow-Balice to the city center is provided by the train service leaving from the airport every 30 minutes, Kraków Airport – Kraków Main Train Station. You can check the timetable via jakdojade app. A single ticket costs 17 PLN and can be purchased using a ticket machine in the passenger terminal (level 0) or at the train station, or can be purchased from a train conductor on board. BY BUS
Krakow Airport serves two bus lines: No. 209 and No. 300, but they will not take you directly to the city center. There is also a night line No. 902 with a direct connection to the city center. A single ticket costs about 6 PLN. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine at the passenger terminal, from the ticket machine at the bus stop. Payment with credit/debit card or in cash. BY TAXI
